We recently commissioned some work from my friend Tim Durning, whom I graduated with from The University of the Arts.  Tim’s illustration is an interesting blend of traditional painting and digital technology.  I have admired Tim’s use of human figures for a long time, so when the opportunity arose to commission some artwork for an advertisement pitch, I jumped at the chance.  Please check out more of Tim’s work at his website http://www.timdurning.com.

The 168 design team recently recieved the final printed version of the Pennington School Magazine, Spring 2009 Edition, which we have designed in its entirety. We are really proud of this piece, as it reflects a solid collaboration between design and illustration.  The amazing photography contributed by the staff and students also enriched the content of the magazine, and brought the current community of students into perspective. The total magazine weighs in at 76 pages! (Kirk definitely had his work cut out for him).
